Little Forks Conservancy

Little Forks Conservancy is a 501(c)(3) land trust that has been protecting Mid-Michigan's natural environments since 1996, working from Midland to conserve vital habitats and waterways. It has helped local families protect over 4,000 acres in the Tittabawassee River Watershed and manages public nature preserves including Averill Preserve, Riverview Natural Area, and the George and Sue Lane Preserve. Its programs include stream sampling, vernal pool monitoring, Conservation@Home and Conservation@Work, and guided hikes; it has been an accredited land trust through the Land Trust Alliance since 2010.
