Lewisboro Land Trust

Founded in 1994 and based in South Salem, New York, the Lewisboro Land Trust works on linking people with the land through conservation, nature education, and trail stewardship in northern Westchester. It owns and manages four preserves (Mount Holly, Marian Yarrow, Grierson, and Kai Lon) and has helped permanently protect more than 1,250 acres of open space. The all-volunteer 501(c)(3) runs over 40 outdoor programs a year, including naturalist-led hikes, youth and family programming, high school internships, and an Access Nature program for disabled and disadvantaged participants, and takes no government funding.
