Legacy Land Conservancy

Michigan's first local land trust, operating for more than 55 years to help people connect with and care for southern Michigan's land and water. It has helped conserve roughly 11,000 acres of forests, farmland, and wetlands through conservation agreements, public preserves, and partnerships with other conservation groups. It also manages public nature preserves, guides landowners on conservation options, and runs volunteer habitat restoration and stewardship programs.
