Leffingwell Forest Preserve Assn

The Leffingwell Forest Preserve Association is a 501(c)(3) formed in 1920 to preserve roughly 100 acres of virgin forest in the village of Old Mission, Michigan. Its founding commitment is that the property shall be maintained in its virgin condition, and the association says the forest still looks as it did in 1920. The old-growth stand has given generations of area residents a place valued for its quiet, its sounds and its beauty.
