Leelanau Conservancy

The Leelanau Conservancy is a land trust working to conserve the land, water and scenic character of Leelanau County, Michigan. Since 1988 it has protected more than 18,000 acres, 64 miles of stream and lake frontage, and 48 miles of trails, and it manages 28 natural areas and preserves open for hiking, biking, paddling and skiing. Its work spans farmland protection with landowners, watershed and water quality monitoring, and habitat stewardship.
