Lead For Pollinators

LEAD for Pollinators, Inc. is an Akron, Ohio nonprofit whose stated mission is to provide leadership, education, action and development supporting the health and sustainability of honey bees, native pollinators, and the keepers of the ecosystem. It runs educational programs, webinars and K-12 resources, and supports other nonprofits through grant writing, fiscal sponsorship and project management. Its advocacy work includes the Akron beekeeping and noxious weed ordinances, the White Pond Wetlands campaign, the MASSQuito Coalition and the Akron Environmental Justice Coalition, with a service area covering the United States.
