The Lawrence Brook Watershed Partnership is a New Jersey nonprofit founded in 1997 to protect water quality across the 48-square-mile Lawrence Brook watershed, which spans New Brunswick, East Brunswick, North Brunswick, South Brunswick and Milltown in Middlesex County, plus most of Rutgers University's Cook Campus. Its work covers advocacy, regular stream water monitoring and volunteer training, community action and environmental education. LBWP has participated in preserving farmland in South Brunswick, North Brunswick and East Brunswick, and organizes cleanups, nature walks and guest lectures in the five watershed communities.
