Land Trust of Virginia

The Land Trust of Virginia, headquartered in Middleburg, partners with private landowners to permanently protect open space, historic sites, farms, forests, and water resources through donated conservation easements. It works across 34 Virginia counties and holds 182 easements covering more than 38,000 acres, including farmland, forest, wetlands, mountain slopes, and Revolutionary and Civil War battlefield land. It maintains dedicated funds targeting farmland, battlefields, the Blue Ridge Mountains, and wetlands.
