Land Stewardship Project

The Land Stewardship Project is a Minnesota nonprofit founded in 1982 to foster an ethic of stewardship for farmland, promote sustainable agriculture, and develop healthy communities. Its work spans new farmer training, soil health, community-based food systems, local organizing, and state and federal policy advocacy, built around stated values of stewardship, justice, fairness, democracy, health, and community. It has more than 4,000 member households and offices in Montevideo, Lewiston, and south Minneapolis.
