Land Conservation Natural Burial

Land Conservation Natural Burial is a Minneapolis nonprofit, formed in 2019, working to establish a conservation burial ground in the greater Twin Cities, where natural burial takes place on land protected permanently through a partnership with a recognized conservation organization. Its members include funeral directors, cemetery managers, environmental educators, hospice chaplains, and public health workers. The group gives community presentations on natural after-death care, builds relationships with local land trusts and conservation groups, and researches suitable sites.
