The Land Conservancy of West Michigan is a Grand Rapids based 501(c)(3) whose stated purpose is to keep nature nearby and conserve ecologically critical land in West Michigan. It establishes public nature preserves, helps communities and local governments create natural areas, and supports private landowners in protecting their own property, while maintaining and restoring the health of protected landscapes. It works across eight West Michigan counties and oversees 165 properties covering 13,097 acres and 91 miles of shoreline.
