Lakes Region Conservation Trust

Lakes Region Conservation Trust works to preserve the natural heritage of New Hampshire's Lakes Region, conserving wildlife habitat and diverse ecosystems, protecting water quality, and preserving natural landmarks and scenic landscapes. From its base in Center Harbor it holds and stewards conservation land across the region's towns, maintaining trails that provide outdoor recreation for people of all ages. It also runs guided outings and education programs, a volunteer conservation corps, and works directly with landowners interested in conserving their property.
