Lakefront Love

Lakefront Love is the operating name of the Freshwater Foundation of Michigan, based in Traverse City. It works to protect and preserve the Great Lakes through funding for education and research, environmental safeguarding and cleanup, and legislative initiatives. The organization also sells a children's book, Sandy the Stone, with half of the proceeds going to the foundation.
