Lake Zumbro Forever Inc

Lake Zumbro Forever, Inc. is dedicated to restoring and preserving the beauty, environmental character, recreational quality and regional value of Lake Zumbro, a 650-acre reservoir north of Rochester, Minnesota spanning Olmsted and Wabasha counties. Formed in 2006 by the Lake Zumbro Improvement Association in response to heavy sediment accumulation, it received 501(c)(3) status in 2008. It completed a major dredging and restoration project in 2019, funded through state bonding, Rochester Public Utilities matching funds and its community Operation Priceless Campaign, and continues fundraising for future maintenance dredging.
