Lake Claire Community Land Trust

The Lake Claire Community Land Trust is a neighborhood-based nonprofit in Atlanta's Lake Claire neighborhood dedicated to preserving greenspace and fostering community. Neighbors bought the 1.7-acre parcel from MARTA in 1986, and it now holds more than 50 community garden beds, a children's garden, pollinator and meditation gardens, a pond, a playground, and an amphitheater. The all-volunteer group maintains the site and hosts festivals, drum circles, community workdays, classes, and workshops there.
