Lake Champlain Land Trust Inc

The Lake Champlain Land Trust is a member-supported land conservation organization founded in 1978 to save the scenic beauty, natural communities, and recreational amenities of Lake Champlain by permanently preserving significant islands, shoreline areas, and natural communities. It works on both the Vermont and New York sides of the lake, conserving islands, lakeshore, wetlands, forests, and farmland, and stewards the land it protects through restoration. Conserved sites include Rock Point in Burlington, Knight Island, Woods Island, and Niquette Bay.
