Lake Arrowhead Conservation Council

Lake Arrowhead Conservation Council is a 501(c)(3) volunteer group working to protect and conserve the natural resources of Lake Arrowhead in Limerick and Waterboro, Maine, with a focus on preventing and controlling invasive aquatic plants and animals. It grew out of a 2007 homeowners' effort against variable leaf milfoil and now runs two DASH harvesters, developed in partnership with the Maine DEP, COLA and the Maine Milfoil Initiative. The council also runs courtesy boat inspections, Clean Drain Dry outreach, and invasive species monitoring.
