Kissimmee Waterkeeper

Kissimmee Waterkeeper advocates for drinkable, swimmable, fishable waters across a 4,100 square mile jurisdiction running from downtown Orlando south to Lake Okeechobee, covering the lakes, wetlands, and prairies of south central Florida. It works on nutrient pollution and harmful algal blooms, safe water supply for people and wildlife, and enforcement of environmental laws through litigation, community advocacy, and education. It is a member of the Waterkeeper Alliance network.
