Kiskiminetas Watershed Association

The Kiskiminetas Watershed Association is dedicated to environmental education, recreation, and the conservation and rehabilitation of the natural and historical resources of the Kiski River and its tributaries. Its work covers the 217-square-mile watershed across Westmoreland, Armstrong, and Indiana counties in Pennsylvania, from the river's formation at Saltsburg to its confluence with the Allegheny at Freeport. Activities include abandoned mine drainage remediation, trout stocking, volunteer conservation projects, and maintaining the West Leechburg Native Plant Preserve.
