King Cobra Conservancy

King Cobra Conservancy is a 501(c)(3) founded by herpetologists, conservationists, and artists to support ecological research and conservation initiatives determining the status of king cobras in the wild and identifying threats and solutions for their survival. It runs field research, snake rescue and relocation, snakebite work, and education programs, with efforts spanning India, Nepal, Thailand, Borneo, and the Andaman Islands, particularly the Western Ghats of southwestern India. The organization also works to build understanding of the king cobra's role in the tropical Asian landscape and its place in human culture.
