Kern River Corridor Endowment And Holding Co Inc

Kern River Corridor Endowment & Holding Co. owns and manages the 936.8-acre Panorama Vista Preserve along the Kern River in Bakersfield, California, running roughly two and a half miles below the Panorama Bluffs from China Grade Loop west toward Manor Street. The organization works to preserve, protect and enhance the educational, recreational, environmental, scientific, cultural and historic values of the corridor for future generations. Its two main programs are floodplain habitat restoration, including planting for wildlife breeding and foraging habitat and protection of the endangered Bakersfield Cactus, and youth environmental education such as its Science Day Camp.
