Kennebunkport Conservation Trust preserves and stewards land in Kennebunkport, Maine, working to protect and restore its diverse habitats and to learn from its ecology and history. Since 1973 it has come to manage over 3,000 acres, 12 harbor islands, and roughly 30 miles of trails, along with a lighthouse and a historic boathouse. Its stated vision is a greenway stretching from the farthest corner of Kennebunkport to the sea, supported by school programs, volunteer days, and community events.
