Kennebec Estuary Land Trust

Kennebec Estuary Land Trust conserves land and wildlife habitat in the Lower Kennebec and Sheepscot River estuaries, working as a community-based membership organization from its office in Bath, Maine. Founded in 1989, it protects land through conservation easements, donations, and outright purchase, and maintains more than a dozen public trails and preserves across towns including Arrowsic, Bath, Bowdoinham, Dresden, Georgetown, Richmond, West Bath, Westport Island, and Woolwich. Its programs span stewardship, education, community science, and helping people and nature prepare for challenges brought on by a changing climate.
