Juniata Valley Audubon Society

Juniata Valley Audubon Society is a chapter of the National Audubon Society dedicated to exploring and protecting nature in central Pennsylvania. It organizes field trips and guided bird walks, bird counts, and hawkwatch monitoring at regional sites, and runs educational programs plus a bird-friendly habitat recognition program. Its conservation work addresses regional threats including pipelines and wind energy, and members also take part in statewide efforts such as the Pennsylvania Bird Atlas.
