Jordan Lake One Water Coalition

The Jordan Lake One Water Coalition is a North Carolina nonprofit bringing together local governments, conservation groups, water utilities, universities, agriculture, state agencies, and private industry across the Jordan Lake watershed. The watershed spans 10 counties and 27 municipalities serving nearly 700,000 water customers, and existing efforts have not been enough for Jordan Lake to meet its water quality goals. The coalition pushes for a more collaborative, interdisciplinary One Water approach to water quality and water supply, growing out of stakeholder work facilitated from 2017 by the Triangle J Council of Governments.
