Jersey Shore Partnership Foundation Inc

The Jersey Shore Partnership is a nonpartisan nonprofit formed after the 1991 Halloween storm to secure stable state and federal funding for beach replenishment and shore protection along New Jersey's 127 miles of coastline. Its first campaign produced the state's dedicated Shore Protection Fund in 1992, the first such legislation in the nation, and its current advocacy focuses on coastal resilience, sea level rise, and storm damage. The affiliated Jersey Shore Partnership Foundation awards scholarships to college students studying marine science and coastal resiliency.
