Jeremiah Commons

Jeremiah Commons is a Jackson, Michigan nonprofit founded in 2023 to create a conservation cemetery and land commons where natural burial helps fund land restoration. Alongside the burial ground it plans a communal farm and retreat space, offering volunteering, events, and educational opportunities focused on land stewardship. It is seeking land in southern Michigan, in the Jackson, Lenawee, Livingston, Washtenaw, and Wayne county area.
