Jamaica Bay Ecowatchers Inc

Jamaica Bay Ecowatchers is a grassroots group dedicated to the preservation, protection, enhancement and restoration of the ecosystem of Jamaica Bay, and describes itself as the advocacy organization for the bay's environmental concerns. Its work includes salt marsh restoration, water quality monitoring, osprey nest recovery and oyster reintroduction, along with hosting the annual Jamaica Bay Task Force meeting. The group is based in Broad Channel, Queens, and works across the Jamaica Bay waterfront in New York City.
