Jacoby Creek Land Trust conserves land in and around Northern Humboldt Bay to promote healthy creek environments, watershed protection, and sustainable agriculture valued by the local community. Established in 1992 and based in Bayside, California, it holds conservation easements, farms protected land using methods that safeguard water and wildlife, and opens its properties along Jacoby Creek for public access. Its Jacoby Creek Enhancement Project studies options to reduce flooding and improve fish and wildlife habitat in the lower watershed, with Humboldt County, the City of Arcata, and the State Coastal Conservancy.
