Jackson Purchase Resource Conservation & Development Foundat

The Jackson Purchase Foundation is a nonprofit serving the eight westernmost counties of Kentucky, dedicated to what it calls the wise use of natural and human resources under a vision of sustainable development in harmony with the environment. It works with landowners, government agencies, nonprofits and businesses across four areas: land conservation, land management, water management and community development. Projects include the Clarks River Interpretive Nature Trail, Four Rivers Watershed Watch, stream cleanups and restoration on Obion Creek, rain gardens and rain barrels, storm drain stenciling, and tree plantings.
