Jackson Earth Restoration & Research Center is a Florida-incorporated nonprofit that describes its purpose as fighting climate change by teaching ordinary people practical, hands-on restoration. It runs a 160-acre arid-land research property in the Arizona desert as a living laboratory, with soil testing, wildlife monitoring, water conservation methods and biocrust cultivation trials, plus research into atmospheric water capture, photobiology and rapid-growth protocols.
