Jackson Audubon Society

Jackson Audubon Society is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) and a chapter of the National Audubon Society since 1971, serving the five-county central Mississippi region of Hinds, Rankin, Madison, Warren, and Yazoo. It promotes conservation and education through birding, running monthly family bird walks at LeFleur's Bluff State Park, regional field trips, quarterly meetings with speakers, and children's bird camps. The chapter also organizes the Jackson and Vicksburg Christmas Bird Counts and a Prothonotary Warbler nest box and research project.
