Islesboro Islands Trust

Islesboro Islands Trust works to preserve open space on Islesboro and the surrounding islands in Maine's Penobscot Bay, and has protected over 1,000 acres of land and about 15 miles of shoreline. It offers free environmental education programs for children and adults, including summer programs, field trips and nature walks, and maintains island trails with volunteer trail days. It also advocates for the environment on behalf of Islesboro in regional issues and local planning.
