Island Heritage Trust Inc

Island Heritage Trust is a community land trust serving Deer Isle, Stonington, and the surrounding islands in Maine, a region of roughly 24,000 acres and 112 miles of shoreline. It conserves the area's landscape and natural resources, maintains public access to trails, shoreline, and islands, and runs educational programming for all ages. Its work includes managing nature preserves, guided walks and webinars, volunteer stewardship, and public events such as the Wings, Waves & Woods Festival.
