Island Conservation

Island Conservation is a Santa Cruz, California nonprofit working to restore islands for nature and people worldwide. It removes invasive species and addresses other root causes of ecosystem decline, then supports the recovery of native plants and animals, with the aim of reviving biodiversity, strengthening marine health, and building climate resilience. It co-founded the Island-Ocean Connection Challenge, a commitment to restore 40 globally significant island and ocean ecosystems by 2030.
