Ioos Association

The IOOS Association is a nonprofit that supports the national U.S. Integrated Ocean Observing System network and facilitates collaboration across the eleven IOOS Regional Associations, the broader ocean observing community, and ocean users nationwide. It works to demonstrate the value of ocean observing data for decision-making and planning, covering U.S. coasts, the Great Lakes, the Caribbean, and Pacific islands. The regional systems it represents run buoys, gliders, high-frequency radar, and shore stations that provide public data on waves, currents, temperature, water quality, and marine life.
