Intl Assn For Landscape Ecology North America

IALE-North America is the North American regional chapter of the International Association for Landscape Ecology, a professional and scientific society for the science and practice of landscape ecology. Founded in 1986 as the US regional association and renamed in 2019 to reflect a membership spanning the United States, Canada, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, it is the largest of the association's regional chapters. It runs an annual meeting with symposia, workshops and field excursions, and supports members through awards, student travel grants, job postings and newsletters.
