International Network For Conservat Ion Paleobiology Inc

The International Network for Conservation Paleobiology is a 501(c)(3) that supports the use of paleontological and historical data to improve the management and restoration of species and natural habitats. It began as the Conservation Paleobiology Network under a five-year U.S. National Science Foundation Research Coordination Network grant starting in 2020, and works to move geohistorical data to the agencies, communities, and industry stakeholders who can act on it. The network runs themed working groups on coral reefs, oyster management, wild rice and pre-impact species distributions, alongside webinars, an annual symposium, and student travel grants and fellowships.
