International Center for Sustainability holds that thoughtful design using permaculture principles, ethics, and sustainability is key to co-creating vibrant living models. It promotes information on permaculture, sustainability, art, and self-realization through ecotourism and agro-tourism, educational programs, litter control, recycling and upcycling, watershed re-nourishment, food-source and rainwater harvesting, and wastewater management. Its projects include the Abundant Immersion Retreats treehouses in Walterboro, South Carolina, an Edisto Island treehouse log cabin, and initiatives in Belize, Costa Rica, and New Mexico.
