International Bioexploration Society Inc

The International BioExploration Society is a nonprofit established by Rutgers University, the University of Illinois, and North Carolina State University in collaboration with universities in partner countries. Its stated mission is to explore the natural and cultural treasures of the planet and share them through educational efforts, reinvesting the funds it generates in the host countries. Donations go to conservation and biodiversity research benefiting natural habitats and human health, guided by operating principles of minimal footprint, respect for local traditions, and building economic opportunity for local communities.
