Institute Of Kambo Advancement And Preservation

The Institute of Kambo Advancement and Preservation is a nonprofit dedicated to advancing scientific research, conservation, and ethical stewardship around Phyllomedusa bicolor, the Amazonian giant monkey frog whose skin secretion is used in the traditional Kambo practice. It conducts Indigenous-led conservation research on the impacts of frog harvesting and convenes KamboCon, which it describes as the first interdisciplinary symposium focused on Kambo. The organization also provides Amazon communities with resources for clean water, medical care, food, clothing, and education.
