Institute For Environmental Innovation

The Institute for Environmental Innovation supports TIST Small Groups in taking locally determined action for environmental renewal, food security, community leadership, health, and climate change. It furnishes technology, organization, and resources to help subsistence farmers in India, Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda plant trees and reverse the effects of deforestation, drought, and famine. Group activities include tree planting, nursery development, beekeeping, agricultural improvements, and health education.
