Indigenous Mothers Community Land Trust is an inter-tribal federation that acquires and holds land for spiritual, cultural, and food sovereignty, stating its mission as tending to Mother Earth and all our relations toward healing and regenerating spirits and way of life. It conducts First Nations title research and rematriation deeds, holds protected land for cultural gatherings, and restores land parcels to their natural design. Partner-managed projects include urban medicinal forest gardens in Newark and Mahwah, the Munsee Three Sisters Medicinal Farm in Sussex County, and a worker-owned native plant nursery.
