Indigenous Celebration Inc

Indigenous Celebration works to preserve the forest and its wisdom by empowering Indigenous peoples through a celebration of culture. Formed in 2015, it partners with communities in the Brazilian Amazon, notably the Yawanawa of Acre, running a School of Traditions where elders teach youth their language and rainforest stewardship, a Garden of Medicines for elder-led healing knowledge, and a women's empowerment program selling artisan crafts. It also organizes cultural encounter tours and US touring events.
