Indiana Audubon Society Inc

Founded in 1898, the Indiana Audubon Society is the oldest continuously operating conservation organization in Indiana, with a mission to engage communities in the enjoyment of birds in their habitat through conservation, education, and research. It owns and operates the Mary Gray Bird Sanctuary near Connersville in Fayette County, over 700 acres of woodland, prairie, ponds, and wetlands open to the public with trails and rustic camping. Statewide it runs field trips, the Indiana Dunes Birding Festival, and research projects including the Indiana Barn Owl Initiative and Project Owlnet.
