Indian Riverkeeper

The Indian Riverkeeper is a Florida nonprofit and Waterkeeper Alliance member whose mission is to protect and restore the waters of the Indian River Lagoon, its tributaries, fisheries, and habitats through advocacy, enforcement, and citizen action. It patrols the lagoon and its watershed, including the St. Lucie Estuary and the North Fork of the St. Lucie River, investigating pollution complaints and algae blooms. Its work also covers water quality monitoring, derelict vessel removal, fertilizer ordinances, and stormwater controls.
