Idyllwild Forest Health Project

Idyllwild Forest Health Project works in the San Jacinto Mountain communities of Idyllwild, California, on the premise that the health of the forest and the health of forest residents are interconnected. It grew out of community response to wildfire risk and runs education on fire ecology and ecosystem-based forest management for restoration. It also operates Mountain Communities Mutual Aid, whose food box program has served hundreds of mountain residents, and a mental health workshop series led by licensed therapists.
