Ichetucknee Alliance Inc

The Ichetucknee Alliance is a Florida 501(c)(3) founded in 2013 to restore and protect the Ichetucknee River and the springs that feed it. It advocates for a Springs Protection Zone for the river under Florida statute 327.45, and educates residents about the springshed and the nitrate pollution reaching it from fertilizer, animal waste, and septic systems. It also supports school-based springs education, including a program at Fort White that connects students to the river's habitat.
