Huyck Preserve and Biological Research Station

The Edmund Niles Huyck Preserve, in Rensselaerville, New York, protects the Rensselaerville Falls, the watershed of Lake Myosotis, and the surrounding lands. It runs a field research station supporting long-term study of natural systems and biodiversity, alongside ecological monitoring and a citizen science phenology trail. It also offers field-based education for students, teachers, homeschoolers and adults, and opens its trails and lake to hiking, fishing, boating and winter recreation.
