Hulsey Little River Trust

The Hulsey Little River Trust is an all-volunteer land trust working to preserve and protect the Little River watershed in northeast Alabama, where the river forms on top of Lookout Mountain and drops into Little River Canyon. It was founded in memory of Shane Harper Hulsey, a kayaker and environmentalist who died in a boating accident in the canyon. The trust acquired 13 acres along Johnnies Creek, a major tributary that enters Little River Canyon just above Canyon Mouth Park.
